Sure, that'd be cool if you could. I might adapt some techniques to my own style, I dunno. I'm always looking for new ways to do stuff anyway. Textures can be a pain T___T and then trying to create your own...-sigh- Practice...bleh. Orly? I have an idea of what I want to do for real, I just gotta sketch out a thumbnail and other such things.

I adapted this to my own ideas of what I wanted but it's very good. As for building textures...I have a library of fabric samples, papers, I even put dirt on my scanner to get that effect. I scanned an orange peal...it's amazing what you can combind and use with opasities to make into skin and hair textures. And I can cut up fabrics to put under layers, hit multiply and huzza I have corset fabric. Any time you find something interesting put it in a file and you never know you might be able to use it in another way. I made tinfoil out of a lighting brush. Course most of my textures end up on models. I really should put up all my 3D stuff some day. I just hate lighting them cause I'm a lazy SOB in that front. OH well. Hope you can make use of the tutorial.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
